Event: Paint and Sip Night with Sara Gowland

Join us for our last on-farm event of the summer with a Paint and Sip night hosted by local painter, Sara Gowland!

Enjoy your Thursday evening by sitting down in our beautiful flower garden to learn a little bit more about painting with watercolours, and to create a wonderful sunflower portrait. Sara will guide as you paint, while you also sip on a glass of wine, eat some snacks and take a break from your regular weeknight routine. You’ll leave with a beautiful framed watercolour painting, a relaxed and fun experience, and possibly some new friends… We can’t wait to have you out!

A little bit about the host: 

Sara-Jane Gowland has been painting for most of her life but consistently for the last 23 years. When her children were small, she started taking classes at the Woodstock Art Gallery and her love of painting was reborn. She’s worked with many mediums but she loves the flow of water and colour and the nuances of light and dark that can be created using watercolour paints.

She’s been in a juried show at the Woodstock Art Gallery, has a permanent display in Tobermory at the Crowsnest Pub and sells works at 2 stores in Tobermory every summer. She also get requests often to do commissions and have done dozens of pieces over the years. She finds it exciting to see others find their creativity and can’t wait to share her love for painting with you in the Fall!
